Essential maintenance work for Welsh Water Call Centre

DCWW Logo

Welsh Water is letting customers know that its customer Contact Centre in Cardiff is to undergo essential maintenance work next week.

From Friday 22nd August to Sunday 24th, customers throughout Wales will still be able to contact the company on operational matters, but there will be a temporary reduction in the number of available telephone lines. This could result in some customers experiencing a delay in speaking to a member of call centre staff.

Peter Perry Operations Director said, “The maintenance work on the electrical power system at our St Mellons Contact Centre is vital to ensure that the network meets all operational and safety requirements. We will temporarily relocate our Call Centre staff to another location while the work is being carried out. Should we need to contact customers we will make information available via our website, local radio stations and staff using loud hailing vehicles.

“The service should be restored to normal on Monday 25th August. Our goal is to ensure a secure Call Centre service for years to come.”
